Carbon footprint

We have let the Website Carbon Calculator test our carbon footprint. It reported that our web page is cleaner than 95% of all web pages tested. This website produces only 0.05 g of CO2 every time someone visits a page. Additionally, the server that hosts this web page runs on sustainable energy.

We all share and use the web, just as we all share and live on this planet. The planet is experiencing unprecedented climate change and the Internet is both part of the problem and the solution. From websites to cryptocurrencies, the Internet consumes large amounts of electricity in data centres, telecoms networks and end user devices. If the Internet was a country, it would be the 4th largest polluter in the world and is expected to grow considerably by 2030. We must embrace sustainability, so that we can create a web that is good for both people and the planet.
